1)      When the pair of conjunctions like neither... Nor, either... Or, not only but also, both.. and are used, they must correlate the some part of speech; s

He got both the prize and the shield. (It is wrong to say.... He both got the prize and the shield).

2)      Since as a conjunctions is preceded by a verb in the Present Indefinite or Present Perfect tense while the latter part of the sentence has Past Indefinite tense.

ii)                   Seeing that, in as much as; as

Since that is case, i shall excuse you

3)      Lest means ‘so that not’. It always followed by ’should’.

4)      In contrasted Sentences, Conjunctions should not be omitted after adjectives; as

6)      The Preposition ‘like’ should into be used in place of conjunction ‘as’; as
He must do as (not like) he was told to do.

7)      Unless, until, till:- the word ‘not’ is not used after until, unless and till because they already express a negative sense. He can’t help you unless you listen to him.

9)      ‘So long as’ and ‘as long so’:- Denote time during which a certain action takes place. ‘unless’ and ‘as long as’ should not be confused. While the former has a negative sense, the latter has an affirmative sense;

10)   Except and without should not be used in the sense of unless; as,
